The Luxtek range of awnings are a full-cassette style, providing maximum protection when not in use, aluminium construction to ensure long life and motorised for effortless operation.

These quality awnings are built in Spain and backed by a 4 year warranty.

Canvas

  • Luxtek awnings are fitted with Recasens RECacril® canvases.
    Recasens® were founded in 1886 in Barcelona (Spain), recognised as a leader for its  innovative capacity, processes, manufacturing and high performance technical fabrics for sun protection.

  • RECacril® canvases are high performance fabrics made from fade resistant solution-dyed acrylic fibres

Installation/Mounting Options

  • All Luxtek awnings are supplied with standard wall mount brackets.

  • Pitch adjustment on the brackets allows for 5-30 degrees fall of the awning.

  • There is also the option to add 'ceiling mount' or 'rafter mount' brackets - see our online store.

Powder Coating & Finishes

  • All Luxtek awnings are manufactured with high grade aluminium and powder coated  with durable Interpon® D1036 powders, compromising of UV-resistant properties for a long lasting finish and designed to withstand the harsh Australian environment.

  • These coatings are especially designed for the architectural and
    construction industry, and have been proven over a 40 year lifespan.

  • All plastic is UV treated and hardware is stainless steel to ensure longevity in the harshest conditions.

Sizes

  • In order to achieve our quick turn-around time of 0-2 weeks, we stock the following standard sizes in-house so that you can get your awning as quickly as possible.

  • Simply measure the area you wish to cover and select from one of the sizes in our chart

  • The awning can be stopped at any position with a touch of a button, however maximum tension is achieved at full projection.

OPERATION

  • All Luxtek awnings are motorised and come with a wireless remote control, allowing the user to open & close the awning.

  • A manual crank over-ride system is a standard feature, allowing the operator to close the awning during a power outage for protection during sever weather conditions - a manual crank handle is supplied with every awning.

  • Dooya® RTS motors and control systems are used in the Luxtek range and is part of the Somfy® group.

  • A standard 240v, 3-pin plug is fitted to our Dooya® motors so all that is required for connection is a weatherproof power point, ready to operate your new awning.

  • An optional wind–sun sensor can be added for extra protection of the awning if being left unattended.
